Review
Musicy is a program that will let you find and tune in to online radio stations, and rip the tracks they broadcast. The program bundles several tools - each one of them with its own interface.
The "Stations" window will allow you to search for a streaming radio station by a given criteria. You can search by genre, keyword, among the Top 500 or a station randomly selected by the program. Once you have found the right station, you can choose to listen to it or rip the audio that is being broadcasted.
If you choose to listen to the station, Windows Media Player will open and play it for you. If you choose to rip the audio, you will see the Ripper window appear. It will show you all the details about the station that you are listening to, along with the information about the song being played. You can start ripping the songs whenever you want, and the program will store each song as a separate MP3 file in a designated folder on your hard disk.
In the "Library" interface you will see the list of songs you have already ripped. You can listen to them by clicking on a track. This window can also be used to organize your downloaded files, as well as to perform searches in your database.
